3.0 225 EFI Limiting

Hi, I have a Merc 3.0 225 EFI and we get water in the gas , we drain the tank and replace the fuel filter and take the injectors to service and run the boat when the engine reach the 2000 RPM’S the motor start limiting. Put the computer we get “sea temp ckt hi and the fuel ckt hi. The serial number for OT962346. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏻

Sea temp circuit high is a false fault.

Fuel circuit high needs diagnosed. Check shop manual for procedures.

Probably is actually Fuel LEVEL Ckt High (which also is a Ghost Fault).

Watch to make sure the shift position switch is indicating "In Gear". Also look at the Run History and Freeze Frame (Fault) History- Printout and provide all info for best results.
