It's nobody's business what substances folks choose to put into their bodies.

    Until it is...

"New Haven Fire Chief John Alston Jr. said emergency crews were overwhelmed with "multiple" 911 calls... Even while we were trying to return people to service, they were passing victims on the ground," Alston told reporters.
    Who controls John Gill?

That's right. Legalize them all. We need more tax revenue.

Drugs are so great...legalize them all. Once they are all legal an easy to get then that should cut down on all the crime and gang shootings. There will be less people driving while high and folks overdosing in parks. Also it might cut down on people crapping on sidewalks.

And with the dopers not in jail and gainfully employed by business owners who don't mind impaired workers, crime will decrease. No more burglary or muggings. Life is gonna be just peachy keen. It's rainbows and unicorns and the Barney theme song.

Funny how it's nobody's business until they need Narcan.

My only concern is that all those emergency crews are occupied with saving idiots who obviously don't care about their own lives. IMO, if a person has been rescued with the antidote once, that's good enough.

Overdosed on FAKE marijuana. Impossible on the real thing. We create our own problems. You can't legislate morality.
They just tightened up on the 'massage' parlors here in Tampa Bay, due to the very sad human trafficking aspect.
Of course, the trafficking would be nearly non-existent if prostitution were fully legal, inspected, licensed and regulated.

Yep, simple if every activity was legal we would have no crime. Just unicorns and rainbows.

In 1971 I learned prostitution was legal in Germany and many other European countries, they were licensed, inspected, and regulated. They were expensive for the times. Joe pimp on the corner offered the same same service through his girls for 1/2 the going rate. Look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself the legal prostitution made any difference. It was still illegal for US forces too participate in prostitution but you may rest assured many of the troops were using them and the majority were not in the whorehouses simply due to economics.

Here in Huntington, WV the health dept gives out free needles, and the EMS comes along and gives them Narcan. Endless cycle. Guess who pays for the needles and Narcan?

Make them all legal in Chicago, so that way they have a 50-50 chance of dying by bad drugs or getting shot. Yeah, that makes a truckload of sense.

But hey, we won't have any gangs.

Maybe we would get lucky and most of them would overdose and die.

In the land of Unicorns and Rainbows where everything is personal choice, then it should be we don't intervene on drug overdoses after all they made their choice and knew the possibilities. In the real world you make pizz poor choices and expect the world to help you.
