Safe Electric Heat Source for Cabin

I have a small cabin on the river that does not have a central HVAC system. It had a wood stove, but it's not practical for me to run all winter. I need to keep it fairly warm to keep the pipes from freezing. I can shut the water off and winterize quickly if needed on brutally cold times. Is there a safe electric heater that I can run continuously this winter?

Oil filled radiator style is good for a small area. Have you ever considered a mini split? They make a small 115v model.

If you only need heat when the temps get below 45 or whatever you can hook the heater to a thermostat. They sell the connections / thermostats at HD.

I would look into propane. You would still have heat if power went out.

Yep, set the thermostat on a reasonable setting 50? And let it kick on as needed

Look at some of the safe propane options used in permanent ice houses.
