    Ultrex transducer.

    What is the best way to route a transducer cable on a Ultrex. Thanks

    I see your from Fork.. I choose to run mine down the shaft slot so it's much less prone to get snagged on brush and hardwood.
    It's more work as you have to take the head off and slide the shaft out of the steering box to do it . But well worth the effort to me. Be advised some cables may be too large.. I have done several this way with H-bird Helix and the older 900 series.

    When installing here at the shop, I simply come up the shaft to within apx 16" of the steering housing with the motor all the way down. this allows for a shallow setting. Loop from there (leaving enough slack for the motor to turn) to the cable grommet on top of the steering module, then down the cable sheath to the footpedal. I use a good electricians tape as zip ties tend to cut into the transducer cable if pulled to tight.
