    floating additive for soft plastic

    can i use the stuff that LureParts sellswith bait junkies plastic?

    Its plastisol so your ok. Just be VERY cautious and don't breath the dust from the micro bubbles. You don't want that crap in your lungs. Wear protection

    Never heard of an exact mix, mostly of how buoyant you want the worm. Trial and error thing. Might PM docirv for suggestions.

    On average for 4 ounces plastic use a level tablespoon. Add it when the plastisol is cold and stir it in very well before heating. As mentioned before do not breathe this in!

    doc so i would put this in before i melt it to "clear" and can i add it to colors that i already have mixed. Or are you saying put it on top of the cold plastic before heating it up

    He is saying to pour onto Cold plastic, then stir before heating. OK to add to tinted material IF it is still a liquid, not remelts

    just so i am reading this right i can not re melt old baits once i make them and use or if i do not pour it all i can not remelt it to pour

    You can add it to hot plastic or reheated old used plastic. I find it easier with cold plastic.

    When using micro bubbles, you are going to need more colorant for your baits to look right. The micros are white, and your plastic will be also.

    YES.... I dont like the bubbles at all. distorts the color more than I like.
