I’m trying to install the VVLink to my Lowrance Carbon. I have the kit and would like to do it myself without having to take it to the dealer. I found the 10 pin Smat Craft plug(I think) that has my gauges plugged into it behind the switch panel, but I’m not sure what to do with the other plug on the VVL harness. I would also like to be able to keep my 3” gauges working if possible. Curious if I should use the Smart Craft 10 pin plug in the wiring harness or run a separate data cable from the motor.

Following. I did mine last year and noticed this year my dash tach doesn't work. Thinking I disconnected something not realizing I needed to reconnect the tach somewhere after installing the VV. Thought I had a bad tach but maybe not.
