    Europe....Must see in these cities?...

I'm leaving next Tuesday with my retired parents on a vacation to Europe. We went last summer and have decided to make this a yearly thing. This year, part of the time over there, we will be on a cruise out of Copenhagen with a few days in London before, and a few days in Venice after.

This is what the cruise itinerary looks like...what are the must sees in the cities we are stopping??

We have been to London and Venice before...so no sightseeing there. Just relaxing.

I did that and it was one of the best cruises. No waves, calm seas and very pleasant. Don't miss St-Petersburg - the Ermitage museum if you like paintings and sculptures. There is more there than you'll see in any single museum. Also St Peter and St Paul church… unique ! Also the church of the Resurection - all coverred with glass ceramic. The other cities were all interesting - Tallinn merchant section and market etc.

Stonehenge might be worth a train ride from London.

Not much to do around Stonehenge, but it is interesting to see one time.

This. I did similar cruise to most of the same destinations a few years ago and it was awesome. Probably the best cultural experience of my life. We were with a group, so all our excursions were planned for us, but it was all good. Enjoy!

Yep. We are going there this time. Last year while we were in London we did not make time. This year it was tops of the list.

If you can squeeze a day in UK go to Bath. About 100 miles out of London.
I don't always find schooling fish but when I do I backlash on the first cast

I agree. I was going to list both Bath and Stonehenge, but worried about time to do both.

Because it is nice to see how other countries live and experience other cultures so we don't get closed minded. People from other countries come and visit the United States, we go visit other countries. Europe really is something that everyone should experience. There are buildings over there that were built before the United States was even discovered. It really is cool to experience.
