    Checking game cameras

What does everyone check their cameras with? For years I just carried a digital camera with me in the woods popped the card in and checked them on the spot?? Well my digital camera took a dump and I want to continue checking them this way, whats out there now or do I just buy a new digital camera to check cards with??

I bought a little viewer off Amazon for like $70 that allows me see what’s on card but I can’t erase it and reinstall. The screen is only like 4” and it’s not super high quality

I swap my cads out of each camera I run about 6-7 most years. I have a old Dig camera I take in the pack to the stand with me. pull most of them on the way to the stand sometimes depending on where they are located and go through them while on the stand

I swap cards out but usually I do not go in and out for the camera only. I will pull while I'm hunting an area. I do keep a digital camera in my bag to scan thru while on stand then take take to look at on a laptop. Cams on food sources i can drive bad boy to are swapped and straight back to laptop.

My wife got a wildgame card viewer it's like an iPad, it's ok at best.

Been hunting it for 33 years now. Large property isnt always a good thing, trust me. You can only be in one place at a time and they always seem to know where you are at

If you have an IPhone, but the SD card reader at Walmart for your IPhone and view it that way. Costs $20 and easy to store in your pack. If you have an android device, don’t waste your money on the cheap SD reader, it doesn’t work. It may for some, but it never worked on my Samsung phone or LG tablet.

30 cameras on 1200 acres... Why so many...? Hell I'd forget where most of them are...I hunt almost 1000 acres and I couldn't think of 20 more places that if want to put cameras...

One thing to look at is the cameras with cell signal. They are starting to get more economical to buy and my buddies is like $5 bucks a month added to his cell plan for like 10cameras. They are aggregating also because when we’d get back to camp he’d be like look at this email I got of this buck on that field this afternoon where none of us were.

Most of my property is hardwoods and the property has 2 main hollows that run the length of the property...several that run off of those two but mainly those two...this time of year I get pictures of most of the same deer on all 5 or 6 cameras I run...
