State Federations are going back to BASS.
Meh. I'm waiting for MLF to create a full tour schedule that completely wipes out the other two of the big names. They keep talking about how they can't provide enough content to keep all the TV providers happy, and I know there's more money in MLF for the anglers by a long shot than there is on either tour. How is it that they STILL have to pay enormous entry fees on the top tier professional tours and lose their asses if they don't cash a check? Someone's getting rich off of it, and it isn't the guys trying to fish for a living.
Ike said something very cryptic on BTL the other day about big changes happening. He actually said something like "we'll look back on 2018 as the year everything changed." Matt also hinted that he's been told things by a ton of anglers (off the record) that indicate a big change is happening.

The only change i'm hoping for is that Dan Barone retires from trying to be a writer.
I have a wild idea about what he is talking about but I'll let it play out.
Maybe J Morris will buy out both BASS and FLW and combine them both. He already owns everything else in Bass fishing.
If BS was snow, some of these guys would be a blizzard!
They're gonna outlaw senkos ?
Obviously I have no idea what may or may not happen. What I think would be cool is to combine FLW and BASS. The top 75 fish for A league. The other 150 fish for B league. After the season the top 15 of B league graduate to Elites. The bottom 15 from Elites go to B league. The top 5 in the B league qualify for the Classic. There is also a B league championship and the winner also gets graduated to the Elites.
JM buys BASS and makes tournaments pay per view...
For those that think BASS and FLW need to merge why?
Maybe the cancellations and date changes combined with the success of other formats got some to think that maybe the tail is wagging the dog?
MLF style fishing and there will be no weigh in, but you can pay to get in the tent with a big screen TV to watch the action.
