Jacksonville or Panther Creek

Thinking of making a trip in a few weeks. want to do some late afternoon/evening bass fishing. Would anyone have any recent experience with Jacksonville or Jim Edger? Any advice is much appreciated.

I've been threatening to fish them both for several weeks now but haven't made it. I will for sure go when we get back from the NE trip in 2 weeks. Post results if you go. I'll fish both when I go and stay for a couple days.

I went to Jim Edgar two weeks and had my best day all summer. I hope to get back there this weekend. And it's free t launch.

I pitched to standing timber for a few hours at Praire last weekend and was only catching small ones. First time I fished it this year. Best bass habitat lake in the area that’s for sure.

We fished panther creek Friday afternoon. Buddy caught a keeper on a swim jig everything else was a short. Stayed on the north half of the lake. Beautiful day.

I e always thought it was about overcrowding the smaller lakes if bigger motors were allowed
