    changing pitch ?

    can you change a 25" tempest to a 23" pitch ???
If so will it perform good ? Good enough for spare prop ?

You cannot pitch a prop down that far. Maybe 1/2 pitch if your lucky.

That’s right. Mark says you can go up or down one pitch.

This is a cut and paste from a guy I have had do work for me I was always told + or - 2 on pitch. Up is a easy job, down is tuff but can be done.

pitch change: plus, or minus 2”

He told me the same thing. Mark took me from a 25P Yamaha to a 24P and it worked great.
