First bird coming in next week

Been running stratos 201’s for over ten years, ordered a new 721 back in June figured that boat would be the closest boat to what I’m used too in the 201’s, anyway it’s been a grind waiting on this boat. Hopefully I will be happy with it, been reading a lot on the Phoenix boats about set up and what not, well I will say coming out of a 201 hopefully this thing will fit right in my lap

You'll take to it right away. The 721 is VERY similar to a 201. Ride, handling, etc. will be familiar to you. Finish and hardware are nicer on the 721. Congratulations on the new rig.

I will, the 201 is arguably one of the best hulls ever made

You can thank Alan Stinson for the 201 hull and multiple other hull designs that were great

I also came out of a 201 into my 921, I think the 721 compares closely to the 201. As for the 921 it’s a good bit bigger and less nimble than that evo I had. I am pleased with the move and I think you will be as well.

Yeah I think so too, I would’ve went with the 921 but didn’t want to spend the extra $10k
