2006 Evinrude Etec 90 trim problems.

The 06 Etec 90 on my Triton keeps losing the trim when it sits. I usually trim it up about half way when it’s sitting on the trailer but I walked out and the motor was 100% down! I thought someone may have trimmed it down but it’s done it 3 nights in a row now.

The motor trims up and down perfectly but overnight it goes down. There is zero oil anywhere to be seen, so I don’t believe I have an external leak. Any ideas? As always thank you for any advice. Chris.

I will check that in the morning and try to check the ball and spring to make sure they’re intact and free of debris. The seals have been changed to the “updated” design so leaking isn’t an issue so in my feeble mind it has to be in the check ball and spring or what you suggested. Thanks.
