it is feather light. Barely feel like you are wearing a rain suit. Protects absolutely!

I have trouble getting into the sleeves of my Simms when I layer up. A sweatshirt and light jacket on, and the Simms sleeves are very tight.

I have a HUK and love it big upgrade over my BPS Gore Tex that served me well for 15 years. I had a problem pulling the trigger on the money but my wife surprised me with it for our 25 year anniversary last year.

I got nxlvl Huk, 5' 11" 160lb the medium fits me perfect, but no room for extra layers. haven't tried it in heavy rain, you can see through the sleeves just dont seem logical that it can stay dry but Im sure I will find out one day

I got the storm defender series by carhartt. Its really light like the simms. Ive used it in a monsoon and havent gotten a bit wet. As far as the windproof ive not really got to try it out yet in cold weather. I had a 100mph suit before this one and its nowhere as thick as it was so i dont know how well it will be about keeping the wind blocked off in colder temps

I got the Kryptek All Weather I am 225 5-11 I went with XL Bibs but I did go with XXL Jacket. I wanted the Jacket to be able to go over heaver clothing but the XL Bibs had plenty of room.

I purchased Huk rain gear and I am very pleased with the results. Only question I have for any rain suit manufacturer is "Can someone make a sleeve that does not allow water to run down my arm"?
bps rain gear does not allow water down your arm. I wish they made a lighter one for warmer weather use or someone else copied the sleeves on their suits.....

Travel to fish I agree on the comment on the sleeve and BPS suit. That is my only complaint in my switch from BPS to HUK but the flexibility and stretch of the rest of HUK is way better along with the comfort it delivers. I wore BPS for 17 years and still have it was a good rain suit.
