    Repower cost

So I've been tossing the use around of repowering to the new Merc 4 stroke 250 Pro XS. Since I'm currently running an Evinrude, what additional costs will be part of the repower? Controls, guages...??

Control, Cables, Keyswitch Harness, Instruments, Propeller, Fuel Line (with no extra filter), and likely a steering cylinder.

Smartcraft Instrument would be something wise to ocnsider in the process as well.

Talk with your local Mercury Dealer- and plan ahead with ordering as it takes around 7 months (currently).

-Engine is +/-17k (DTS clean power harness & Battery cables come with the 20 in Pro XS only)
    -Control $345
    -Cables $100
-20 ft Boat harness $225. A 25 if needed would be around $245
-Smart craft, $425 or buy a tach harness to use all your analog gauges for $60
    -1.25 Hub kit $180
-Prop $529 (lots of good used props available that are cheaper)
-Local taxes if you're buying in state
-Labor would likely be around $800 or so switching out everything

Approximately, except for the missing steering and some incompatible (analog) instruments.

Don't forget the Sept. 1 Price Increases.

    Just to clarify,
    DTS
harness does NOT come with ProXS 20" engine models. A "Clean Power" harness comes with them, however.
