? about brake solenoid on 1996 Ranger Trail

My solenoid on my Ranger Trail trailer is back by the rear on the tongue not on the master clyinder. Looking at it I cant tyell what holds it in place. Looks like it bolts on a piece of medal maybe held it in place by pin that goes through the removable tonguue. Anyone know?

the bottom has 2 screw holes threaded 8-32. maybe there are screws coming up and screwed into the bottom. The new actuators with the solenoid on the back are much more practical and no need to subject the return line with a long length.

Will I need some kind of splicer or such to bridge area where old soleniod is? Maybe a new piece of brake line to connect.

The new actuators with the solenoid installed are ready to accept a brake line. You will need an additional length or a new line to reach the new distance required.
