09 Yamaha 225 HPDI Ratcheting Noise - Bad Help

Hey all, wondering if you can help me,? I have a Yamaha 225 HPDI series 2 2009 with 2013 Powerhead. It makes a clanking noise from the lower unit, only when in gear , both forward and reverse, It goes away with any throttle applied, I have seen on you tube and searchs that it may be normal,?, Just changed Oil and it was clean as it can be with a tiny bit metal particles & prop is tight 25 T1 (1 Piece Brass Thrust Washer) . My 05 200 HPDI never did this and I just bough this boat 1.5 months ago and its been out 3 times.

Idles @ 500 RPM and is smooth but in gear it rattles / ratchets badly until over 700 RPM then goes away...

I had a 2014 Suzuki 90 hp 4 stroke that did this up to about 1200 rpms.

Dealer said it was normal and I never experienced any problems in the 3 years I owned this engine.

Most likely the prop hub causing it.

Sounds like prop ratchet. Normal for these engines.

Can't remember the spec for in gear idle rpm. If it is idling at too low of a rpm it will ratchet lots worse. Bigger diameter props also make it worse.

Probably due for a full sync and link which should get idle rpm back to spec.

Mine only does this with the 25T1 prop. doesn't do it with my turbo prop. something to do with how they are made i guess.
