    Which Fury 4?

Looking at grabbing a Fury 4. Have a 921 PHX with a 250 pro XS, running a 24p Fury 3 blade right now with good results. I run my boat fairly heavy.

    Thanks!

If you are happy with the the 24 now then I would stick with the 24 in the 4 blade. Most guys I know in 921's or PHX 21's are running the 25 (but with the SHO) and very happy with that combo.

Fury’s seem to run the same rpm comparing 3 to 4 blade of same pitch.
I lost 1 mph on top end running 4 over a three blade.
nice running out of the box props

I have a 921 XP with a 250 Pro XS. Running a 25p Fury 3 blade and see speeds of 72-74 with just me (150 lbs), but I'm only turning 5650 rpm. I'm running at 2500 ft elevation. I tried out my friends 24p Fury 4 this weekend at was able to hit 6k rpm, but lost 3 mph on the top end. I'm not sure if a 25P Fury 4 would be best for me or a 24P Fury 3 blade. I'll need to find someone with those props. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the replies, I actually screwed up...I am currently running a 25P Fury 3 blade, should I stick with 25P or drop to 24P?

I went from a 25 Fury 3 blade to a bravo XS 26 and absolutely love it. I am running a vrod pro but man what a difference all around. I am considering ordering a 27 bravo XS as well.....

I run a 25p fury 4 on the same boat and motor and love it. 71 tourney loaded and a rocket out of the hole and mid range.

The four blades carry loads better, turn better at low speeds and hole shot is better. You will lose a little top end cause your slinging more metal. JMO. and 30 years running fast

Nope wide open. My fury 4 just threw a blade after a year of hard running. I ordered a new one the next day while I wait on a warranty claim I can't stand even running a 3 blade anymore

The same reason the tempest props and all mercury props like to break... the metal it's made of and casting flaws. I've thrown blades and or cracked blades on 3 or 4 tempest plus props in the last 2 years. All but 1 was covered under warranty

I hope so I'm sending that one back. I put a new 25p fury 4 on this weekend and it's awesome just like the last one

If your WOT rpm's are where they need to be on the Fury 3 blade, stay with the same pitch on the Fury 4.

Why a Fury 4 over a Bravo 1XS? From all I can research a Ranger is the only hull where the Fury 4 is better and the Fury slings more blades. Anybody tried both on the same boat other than a Ranger? I want a 4 blade but don't know which without trying.

I was told the opposite. The fury 4 was developed to help throwing blades on our boats
