    Aluminum canoe repair

I want to fix a 4" tear (slightly above water line) in an old aluminum canoe my grand kids enjoy paddling around in. I have little skill and less ideas... someone able to get me started?

Find a welding shop that does TIG or MIG welding. You can do it yourself, piece of aluminum, a alumiweld Rod and a MAP torch.

It's not that easy. It has to be perfectly clean plus aluminum conducts heat away like a mutha. Just rivet a patch over some Flex Seal then spray over it

Clean it with some sandpaper and wipe off with alcohol or brake clean then use JB weld. I assume it is like a gash and not a hole, obviously if a hole jb weld is not your answer

Slap some flashing tape on it, it will keep the water out.
