    Best connector for boat ladder

The connectors that hold the ladder together on my Astro Fish Ski came off. Here is a picture of what I am talking about. I am wondering what the best thing to reattach it. It looked to be some kind of pop rivet. The size is about 1/4".

Any suggestions on the best way to attach this?

The one I keep getting told I cannot use because the file is too large to be added. I cant find a way to make it smaller so I cant add it.

Oh well I will try getting a larger rivet tool and get some 1/4 rivets and see if that works.

Get the free app/program called "Pixresizer", then choose the pic you want resized and check the 25% button and save. The new file will be small enough to post on BBC.

    Thanks for the picture help.
What the picture shows is the 2 sections of the ladder. I need something to fit in the holes and hold the sections together but still allow the bottom section to fold up and attach to the top section.

Unless I'm missing something, you'll just need a stainless steel machine screw (preferably a round or pan head) and a stainless Nyloc nut, along with two stainless washers - one under the screw head, the other behind the nut. Tighten the Nyloc just enough to provide friction but still allow ladder portion to pivot.

Looks like the ladder section on the right needs to be flipped around though, no?

If you have Microsoft Office, use Microsoft picture manager.
