Help! Trying to find out what model ChampioN I've got!

We've had this boat in my family since I was a kid, but none of us know the actual model. I do know its 20' 1" so I'm assuming a 201, it's a 1992 and came with a 200 hp Mariner motor, I just dont know if it's an SCR, DCR or elite? Anyone know a way to find out?

Pix will help, but think you nailed it at 201. SC is single console, DC is dual. Easy way to tell on an Elite package would be if there is carpet throughout, even insde the compartment lids.

    Welcome!!!

The "R" in SCR and DCR means raised deck. Simply lower gunnels. As Reggie said, pictures will help.

I'll try to get some pics up, I'm on my phone and when I try to take one it's too big, but I'll work on that, it's a gorgeous boat

It is sharp!! But doesn't look like a raised deck. I'll have to look at some pix of the one I had.

Thanks, I just finished using a fiberglass restor kit to remove a lot of the water spots and oxidation and polish/wax it up, need to order me some new windshields, and have it recarpeted now

Also I'm new to using forums so may take me a bit to get this posting stuff correctly down, but here's a closer shot of the drivers side after I pulled all the hardware off while doing the fiberglass restore stuff20180812_105249.jpg

So, what I'm seeing is only the SCR/DCR and F&S listed for 92. On the 93 201 I had, the gunwale appears to be as tall Jbol's. My 210 is about 1/4 that tall.

Jbol248, please fill ouot your profile. We like to know who we're talking to and where you're from.

Yeah, there really was very little difference in the 92-94 201s. Ah, Kermit ... been there a time or two in my lifetime. I grew up around Hale Center/Plainview and worked in the family 2-way radio business. Did some work on oil rig communications systems back in the early 70s around there. out of our shop in Lubbock.

Reggie, do you have a 210 or the boat pictured above?
