    Can an SHO go into limp mode with no alarms sounding?

    Mmmm got a 225 that won’t rev above 2000rpm but no alarms.

    Tested start without the lanyard and the buzzer sounded so I'm assuming its ok.

    Hmmm... is the throttle body opening all the way. Maybe your not In rpm reduction? Have you had it scanned for codes.

    2015. 150hrs or so. Full cause assessment starts Friday.

    Quick update.

    Likely main bearing failure causing low oil pressure without physical alarm (yes the alarm works). 8 instances of low oil pressure with one instance of SLOW mode. Cause still being investigated.
