V8 prop?

Repowering a 16' 520c, what prop are guys using? Running a 25 fury currently on 250 proxs 2stroke

You need to try YOUR current prop to get a BASELINE of the RPM's, then go from there.

Doing that dance now with my Z21 Intracoastal and a new V8 250 ProXS. 25 is way to much for this engine on a 20'+ Ranger. The V8 runs up to 6200 rpms. My target is 6150 and I'm getting close to completing 10 hours of break in. The 24 3 blade Fury runs 5950 at 71 mph. The 23 3 blade Fury on now I'm still playing with. All PVS holes open it's hitting 6000 and 70 mph but I do need more time at WOT and seat time as my jackplate and trim settings are totally different from the previous Opti 250.

Have tried a 23&24 tempest and 24 fury4, 24 tempest has been the best so far, have not run the 25 fury that came off of 2stroke
