is 3 for $40 a good price for wood chips?

Each bag is 1 cubic foot. I will be able to get pecan, oak and mesquite. Its all local wood. They were trying to charge me 20 per bag...but I talked them "down" to 3 for $40.

It is local wood, and types I cant get locally.....but the small bags of the apple and hickory wood I got from walmart were $1.88 each! So 20 per bag...and even 3/40 seemed steep to me.

I already realized its all about the wood....so let me know if you all would buy it if presented the opportunity.

I buy the wood chunks, not chips at Walmart or Menards. $5 to $8 per bag.

I did some quick cipherin' and it seems like a decent price. A bag at wally world is $2 and it's 180 cubic inches. A cubic foot is 1728 CI. That's 9.6 bags at $2 each. $19.20 per cubic foot. Three bags would be $57.60. ($54 at 1.88 each) Yeah, I'd do it for $40.
