Micro Power Pole?

Let's hear from Tracker guys that have installed a micro power pole. Good experiences, bad experiences, is it worth it etc.

I do remember a couple guys that had them installed. I found this thread on it doing a search. Seems those that had it liked it. Only issue i see with one is dealing with the spike like ship posted in this thread in the link but it sure would be handy sometimes.

I have one on my 175 but i don’t use it much. I only have 8’ pole so it works best in 5-6’ or less. It does work and before i put Ultrex on i would say it was worth it. Now that i have an Ultrex i dont know how much i will really use it. Hope to get a kayak set up one day so i always thought of f i dont use it on bass boat i can use it on kayak.

Previous owner added one, he used the transom clamp bracket, and I hadn't had it on my boat all season till yesterday lol (took it off for storage lasr fall) . I wanted to see how it paired to the carbon I installed this spring. That said I have not used mine very much but does work quite well in the right situation. My boat also has an Xi5, so I use anchor mode more. I really think power pole usefulness depends on the body of water, and can imagine it coming in very handy if I weren't fishing a structureless bowl all the time.
