One 12 volt 110 Ah, two 36 volt 40 Ah for a 80 Ah total. Stealth One AC/DC chargers. The chargers are not stacked which would save even more room. I also have Dual power pole pumps in here, still leaving room to access the door for the pumps below that just twist out for easy replacement on the water. I have run this set up in my Legend A211 and Charger 797 and 210 with out ever having to pull a battery to do maintenance in the bilge.

Does Honda approve the use of lithium’s? Merc will not approve them for their motors.

Holy chit!! I was about to get a set up for my boat. Guess I need to re-think this.

I ran them for the last 3 years and thought they were the cats meow however this year I am running Optimas and to be honest don't really notice a difference except charging time.

Was doing some reading on Lithium batteries was wondering about fire fighting agents, Thinking class D,,, but nope supposedly no Lithium metal so typical ABC should work..
But also found where charging at over 105 ambient could cause a fire,, although article also said that most devices wont allow charging at that temp. So who knows.. Think I will see what happens down the road.. I work on an 85 car ferry and always wonder whats gonna happen if we get an electric car fire on deck.

You should tell Chevy, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, and other EV OEMs. They all use pouch cells even though they are more expensive than cylindrical because of the superior performance and unique cooling issues that large cylindrical packs present.

We actually manufacture and sell batteries made with both types of cells. Each have their advantages and disadvantages and therefore their place.

We did not have the opportunity to inspect this particular battery in person and we don't know all the circumstances around it. Obviously we do not enjoy seeing any product failures of any type for any reason. We are glad that no one was hurt and the boat was not seriously harmed either. The boat's owner will be back on the water in this boat next week.

All products, especially electrical products, may fail. The question is, what is the company going to do about it?

We stand behind our products. There is a good reason why 1 out of 5 Bassmaster Elite anglers run Lithium Pros today and have for the past four years.

A gasoline car fire on deck should worry you much more because that is much faster, hotter, therefore more dangerous. I'm sure you have a plan for that.

Typical ABC fire extinguisher is appropriate.
