Dee's cCabin Rentals. He is a great guy. These are located on the backside of the lake in the Longbow area. They are about 5 minutes from the ramp. The closest hotel is just off the I64, Farmers Sharky exit on the main side of the lake. It is about 10 minutes away from the new ramp at Stoney Cove. All other hotels are a good distance from the lake.

Been thinking of trying this lake as well, for the first time. Any insight is appreciated.

Cave Run is my home lake. And it’s nothing to brag about. Way over fished. Typically 3-5 tournaments a week. Fishing is very tough. Last week 1 st place was 8 pounds. My advice don’t waste your time or money making a trip to Cave Run.
I will agree fishing is tough gorgeous lake though! We caught some dinks yesterday I did make a trip back in June where we got some nice fish deep one was over 5.

thanks cc for letting me know what to expect hope to hit a decent day
I used to fish there in the late 90’s. It was cool to hook into a couple of muskies while fishing a buzzbait one afternoon. Have friends that chase the muskies up there, but seldom catch one.
