    Question NEW TO CHAMPS NEED SOME INFO

    Hey guys,
    So I'm new to owning a bass boat, just picked up a 92 201dcr and looking to repower, what's the actual rating on these things all I can find online for a spec is "any v6 outboard " any help would be much appreciated.

    That's pretty much it. You can hang any V-6 you want on it. This rating was way before the new Merc V-8's came out. I'm sure you could get away with mounting one of those on your hull. But you can safely hang a 250 HP motor on it. Welcome.

    I do agree someone should be horsewhipped, that being said it still runs 50mph on the gps

    Couple of sticky posts here ... http://www.bbcboards.net/forumdisplay.php?f=142. Main thing is that if you are doing it with your phone, the picture will have to be resized to fit. Some folks use tinypic.com. If you use Microsoft Office, you can do it with Microsoft Office Picture Manager on your PC.

    Ok and what would that be guys? A few guys up here running tournaments are running 250s and 300s, most are in the 175 to 200 range on 18 footers, but I dont like being last to the hole lol
