We are a BBC sponsor and make custom fender covers. Depending on what year Ranger you have, we may have a custom set available for you, sir. We also offer BBC members a special discount!

Grumpy/LGF,
Email me a picture of your fender at 'marinetrailersavers@gmail.com'. Your fenders would be the previous style of Ranger tandem that changed to current around 2003-2004 and had curved open front end (no back). Have found that our current covers are not a bad fit for this style. Have had several buy them and say they fit well. Also, have pictures from set from one of them that I could send you back to show you what the fit would be.

I have a set on my 02 520 trailer. They are nice. I wish I would have bought them 10 years ago. They have saved me a ton of trailer fender buffing and waxing since I put them on about 4yrs ago. My trailer sits outside most of the time without the boat on it. They are holding up to the sun suprisingly well.

I wish you made bed board covers for protecting the wood/carpet too. I have a trailer that sits out 24/7. Already have the fender covers and would like something matching
GreenRanger364V, I did not mean to hijack your thread in responding to you, but think you've gotten several answers to your question of 'What'd you use'.
Thanks to all of you that have bought and replied about my product, I appreciate it!

GreenRanger364V, did you ever hear from anyone that made their own? I know the Marine Trailer Savers product is really good. However, your original question was interesting to me too. I wondered if you found anyone making their own and what they used if they did.
CxThree is correct you haven't gotten a real answer to your question. We use a outdoor marine Polyester material call SurLast. It's made by Glen Raven company which also makes Sunbrella. It has a urethane backing so it will not scratch and also edges will not fray. You can google it and read about SurLast. There are more expensive and less expensive materials available but this is the material we settled on, after trying many.
Again GreenRanger364V my intention was not to hi-jack your thread, sir.
