There is a bulletin out for the bow switch causing the engine to trim up when the power button is on. Not sure what all 2018 models it covers. I contacted my dealer and the new part is on the way. I have a 2018 Z19

Issue is from water getting in switch. Just had mine replaced last week. 2018 Z19
I have a 2018 Z19 as well. And this happened to me after a hard rain on the lake. I had to take the front cover off and unplug it while on the water. I'm taking mine in to get replaced next month. Good to know they've got a solution.
Oh man this happened to my few weeks ago on my 2010 Z-7 with few days of heavy rain. Is it just the trim switch or whole panel with switches?

Nitro went to a new manufacture for the switch plus they suggest the dealer drill two holes in the bracket below the switch. This will allow any water to drain away from the switch.
Ok how do I obtain one of these switches, contact nitro direct?

Mine is umder warranty and Nitro replaced the whole panel and switch.
My 2019 z21 done it to me at st Clair on a trip had a new switch installed haven’t ran it yet
Those switches were only on the z19, but they are now on all boats. Old style rocker switches always had a problem in rain.

I never fish in the rain unless I just get caught in it. I haven't had any problems but should I get it changed out anyway?
