Does anyone have any tips to keep Power Poles from slapping in rough water ? I was thinking about a strap or something, I would just need to remember to take the strap off once I start fishing.

Strap will be fine, even if you forget it won't hurt it

velcro straps called Strap its can attach one side to pole channels if you forget to remove pole will still open just opens the velcro and if you attach one side it wont get lost.
