    Couple issues observed. On Gen3 12 and Gen3 9

    System setup is LSS-2, HST-WSBL on console, Spotlightscan transducer on bow unit. Point-1 connected to both units.

    Blue tooth phone feature does not seem to be working Using Galaxy S6. Tried wife's Note 7 (i think it is), no go either.
    Verified that before the update I could pair phone with the unit, and it would pair. After update, it will not discover my phone. (UPDATE, GEN3 does not support this feature, Carbon does.)

    I use spotlight scan on TM, down imaging no longer works. It is as if the contrast is set a minimum, but it is maxed out. No bottom shows.

    Update...The unit worked fine in simulator mode, but would lock up an reboot, Happened twice.
    After exciting simulator mode it showed I had no source on SS page, entered Simulation mode and exiting simulator fixed the no source problem.

    Also noticed when using genesis live the contour depth numbers are upside down if using heading up (i have Point-1) the depth numbers were correct with north up. (This was observed using simulation mode), this may or maynot be an issue however.

    I realize that this has not gone public, so bugs are to be expected. I would not install it yet. LOL
    I work in the tech environment, so I understand bugs. Change something seemingly simple in the code, and breaks something somewhere else. It can be a real pan in the butt!


    I fish a few water bodies that are not mapped.
    And I have lost a phone in the lake trying to check a text message.
    So..I will love these features!!!

    Both of these features are a Win Win!

    Know I guess I just wait for the public release to drop! I have rolled back to the previous version for now.

    If you read the release notes that i posted the link in post #11, the text/phone messaging part does not work with Gen 3 units, Carbon only.

    I think it is for ethernet connected Fusion Audio Products.

    I don't even see the release posted anymore (except on the FTP site), and all the announcements are not up anymore either...did they pull this back?

    You already can, but not wirelessly. Must use with the video adapter cable. Wireless could support video, but doubt Bluetooth could.

    But you can get creative with a few devices available. Wireless Phone Mirroring devices Like Miracast with RCA Video and Audio output should work.

    My main issue is loosing my downimaging and spotlight with the spotlightscan transducer, which I use pretty much an HDI transducer. Curious if the same happens with the HDI transducer?
    I am one of the few that like the spotlight transducer and find it useful.

    Again I know this has not been released to the public, just a possibility that these problems may be tested and verified and past on too Lowrance before public release.

    I don't believe Bluetooth has the bandwidth to stream video.
    Connecting a video source to the composite input (RCA jack) would not be considered streaming.

    Completed update, noticed I didnt get genesis live with navionics selected as my map option. Had to select Lowrance as source. This was in demo mode
