start with 2.5", P2P, slight bump down or up from there
if the prop is stock you may end up bumping it down a notch or 2

What number on the plate do yall run it at? And what kind of speed are you seeing? It has 38hrs on it and has got slower and slower. Take off is bad to.
are you talking about the sticker tape? or the gauge?, the sticker can be stuck on anywhere they are not all the same and the gauges need to be calibrated, see what hole the engine is mounted in and measure prop 2 pad, then see what the tape or gauge says.
what are your RPMS at WOT?

I have a Bob's so the numbers wont match up. I measured my ptp at half way so I know where I'm at. I am normally 3" or above
Mine is around 2 1/8th with a manual plate. No poles but a ton of gear.
Bassproderek, your issue of "slower and slower" sounds like power loss from summer heat and humidity or you're throttle cable is out of adjustment
I'd check your engine oil level. If it's over full on oil it will act that way as well.
I have a 921 xp with twin 10' poles and Bob's hydraulic JP, and carry tons of gear. Pretty heavy boat.
Your first reply is the setup to go by.
My stock T2 seems to like 14 on my atlas which measured is 3”
