    Lake Ontario

My wife, son and I fished lake Ontario last Thursday while visiting Canada. Our guide was great, the weather and fish cooperated and none of us got sick. It was a fishing trip I had always wanted to take and my expectations were far exceeded. We may have to make it an annual trip.

The 2 pics above are the same fish. It was 17.8# Chinook salmon.

    Hopefully, this video link works.

Our guide gave us a great recipe and I had the pleasure of enjoying one heck of a beer drinkin', salmon eatin' evening with a dozen salt of the earth hospitable Canadian in-laws!

I'm posting with imgur for the first time so hopefully the pics come through ok. Please let me know if the video has no sound. I may just have to upload it to my YouTube channel.

Not much cool weather while we were there. The day we went fishing was very nice with highs around 80. The rest of the time it was around 90 with heat index of 104.

Glad you enjoyed your trip up here and you were able to get some sore arms from the salmon.
