    Synthetic Oil 225 SHO

Did my first oil change on my new to me SHO. 112 hrs. I went with the synthetic Yammi oil, only because where I bought it there was very little price difference. Any of you guys running the Syn 5-30 Yammi oil? How many hours before the next change? I know on other 4 strokes with full syn oil, you can see at least double the hours sometimes more, but wasn't sure on the SHO. Thanks guys!

The manual doesn't specify a difference in intervals between conventional or synthetic. I swapped to synthetic at my 20 hr change and will still change at the yearly or 100 hr time frame.

My TM would qualify for a 100 hour oil change every year if it used oil, but not my engine.....not even close. I do however change the oil and filters every fall regardless of the engine hours. I boat 11 months out of the year so I take care of the engine.......oil and filters are cheap insurance. Synthetic since 20 hours......7 years and counting.....best engine I have ever owned.
