    Beaver Dam

Hello everyone. I will be working in Beaver dam in late august and most of September. Working 12s from monday-thursday. I was wondering if it was worth pulling up my Skeeter to do some fishing on friday before I head back home for the weekend? I just target bass, and I dont see much online if the bass population is healthy. Thanks.

Better off heading a little north to Big Green. Only about a 30 min drive from Beaver Dam.

First I’ve heard of a fish kill. Fishing was slow a couple weeks ago but that’s July sometimes.

I have not heard anything about a kill either. I was out there probably 3 weeks ago, caught a lot of fish. Not a lot of huge ones, didn't see any dead ones either.

I went out to fox about 8 days ago mainly because I read this and did just fine. The gf landed the biggest fish which was a bit over 5lbs.

Yup just a scare tactic. Fox Lake is probably a top 5 lake for me in this state.

We should all probably start posting on Lake-link how good the fishing is there.

I didnt bring my boat this week, but talked to a few locals and they all said Fox lake is where I need to go. By the time I get off work I will only have a solid 3 hours before dark. So not sure traveling to Fox is time efficient. I know one thing, beaver dam lake doesnt see much fishing pressure during the week. I have seen 1 boat on it since I have arrived.
