Spinner bait wire

want to try and bend my own and was thinking could i use S.S. welding wire, this that what is typically used or is it something else, figure that it is cheaper to just buy them pre made but want to try it first

I don’t think it will work as good because it’s softer than the wire used for spinnerbaits. I bought some several years ago to build
A-Rigs with, it didn’t work so well. It bends to easy. That’s been my experience with it.
