I'm guessing your average fan won't care about it.
I doubt they will lose any fans over that.
Most will just hope it means he is never heard of again, not many people like him and what he has done to the series.

I never have like this guy. Ever since he took over Nascar it has gone downhill.. Hes the reason Nascar has failed or is failing. Not surprised with this coming out. Nascar has been struggling and its no surprise he has a drug and alcohol problem. Maybe this will be the turnaround Nascar needs.

He has nothing to do with it. Nascar has tried many thinks to pick up new fans as old fans die off. Like it or not peoples taste have changed, they dont like to sit still for 3 hours and watch a sporting.event. All sports have suffered, not just Nascar. The "good ole days" in nascar were actually quite boring if you look at the stats they were horrible races.
I can only think of a Foster Brook skit of trying to get out of the ticket..
