reminds me of those two drunks walking down the train tracks.
1st drunk-- dang these stairs are long....
2nd drunk -- and these low hand rails are killing my back ..

I applaud these types of accessories.
They may not be for everyone but for anyone who is getting a little older, a little less steady or recovering from a recent injury (me in all three cases) stuff like this can keep help keep you safe and fishing for years when your only alternative was to just sit home. Here is a picture of a grab bar I recently fabricated and installed on my boat to steady me as I stepped down from the front deck and to aid me when getting out of the drivers seat instead of hoisting myself up by pulling on the steering wheel. It is totally out of the way yet easily accessible.

I love all the people that actually took the hardware comment serious or thinks he just did it for the bling. Talk about a full livewell.

Sadly we are the last generation that will even understand the Rat Fink reference. I thought about painting some Flames on it somewhere but couldn't figure out where. I'm guessing there is probably an APP for that.

Naw man... it's gotta be the eyeball! Remember? The flying eyeball! You gotta find an old eyeball shifter knob.

Seeing these, the first thing I thought of was that would be a good spot to mount an LED light bar. Could get two 12 inchers forward and then add some spots pointed to the rear for those tailgators that want to follow you.

I think it's awesome you are accomodating your dad like that, and I bet he really appreciates those bars. For some, fishing is justification to have a really fast boat, others its to be competitive and fill the live well, and finally, for some it's about enjoying the outdoors with someone you love and respect. Nice modification, they look to be very well made.

I have thought about mounting some type of tool holder or other functional items on the bars. I gave him a hard side tackle box, front load, that I mount on the deck behind and to the side for him. All his tackle is right their, does not have to get up to change out lures. It stays mounted when we run. Also a solid aluminum arm on the right side with drink holder (very important).
