Market for Mercury 2 strokes vs 4 strokes 250hp this September

I was wondering what the opinion is on the current market for Mercury 2 strokes vs the new 4 strokes in the 250hp size? We are a ski team who sells 5 250 ProXS's every year. This year our sponsorship rebate got cut $1500 per motor so we are needing to get $1500 more out of each motor. With the new 4 strokes coming out a few questions are raised:
    1. How are the new 250 4 strokes performing and does EVERYONE want them?
    2. Is there some apprehension about buying a brand new motor design and will some people want to stick with a proven (2 stroke) design for a few years?
    3. Based on the above answers, what will the 2 stroke market and value be for 2018 250hp Pro XS's with less than 50 hours on them in early September?
    4. Are we going to be able to get another $1500 out of motors this year (they went fast last year for $12,995) because "EVERYONE" is in the same boat and paying $1500 more than we are?

    Thoughts and any other insights?

    Thanks!

Have a buddy that tried to buy a new 250. Was told it was a 26 week wait.
