Have power to blue that connects to bypass solenoid. Does the solenoid ground thru it's mount?

If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
nothing else matters.
I didn't see the screw your talking about. It's a UFP solenoid.

ran jumper wire from solenoid (brass) to trailer and no audible click. I assume the solenoid is bad. Can it be replace without removing the complete unit?

I disconnected the blue reverse wire on trailer and started truck and put in reverse with parking brake on. Went to trailer and connected the blue wire and heard a click which i assume means the solenoid is good. What else could it be?
I believe it's possible for the solenoid to click but still not operate the valve.
Thats why I hilighted normally in the other post.
I think you have done everything (I know of) to isolate the problem. If it was me I would replace the solenoid or depending on age, the whole A-60 drop out.. I just replaced mine..Normallyyou can hear an audible click when the solenoid is activated if you are close enough.
I replaced the A-60 about 4 years ago.
Four years is normally not much time for those units.Might try getting in touch with Dabs -- he used to stop in here some. He worked for them.
I'm not sure if just replacing the solenoid would fix it since it sounds like it will activate..
.
Found a bad ground on truck side of trailer plug
In a pinch you can take a 3/8” nut and put in the grove for the slide and tape it in that will prevent the breaks from setting up
2015 Nitro Z-7 175 Pro XS
The way I have checked the solenoid in the past.
With trailer plug out.
Take a flathead screwdriver and insert into the slot in the bottom and push on the push rod.
Then plug the trailer plug back in to truck while in reverse.
You should feel the push rod push further in as the pressure is released/bypassed by the reverse solenoid.
You can also visually with a flash light look in the reservoir and should see the fluid swirl as the fluid enters back into the reservoir.
If you keep moving the screw driver back and forth on the push rod, (while in reverse) you visually see swirls in the reservoir.
Just for safety piece of mind, Truck off and emergency brake set when in reverse.
Have to try that !!
