38 degrees is with no sun is pushing my limit but then again in the winter 38 with sunshine can feel great.

Shot a new PB 38 today. Haven't hit a ball in a week, go figure. Was playing with a couple of 80 yo, so teed off with them on the SR tees (2400 yds). That's a nice ego boost. Still, had 16 putts on 9 holes. Only hit 1 of 6 fairways off the tee, but I like playing from the shade.

Middle 50's today, played in the gangsome, 11, 4 man teams. Played with a hell of striker of the ball and long today. Birdied the first 5 holes shot 30, Front side is par 36. Our group had 9 birdies but we had to count a double and two bogies. Still took the side 5 under. Back side par 35 I took control, 4 birdies and an eagle, Shot 29 pretty cool feeling. As a group we were 11 under. We took the front, back and overall. Weather will keep the courses closed all next week,

Rolled a drive out 313 today, gps, best all winter for me, down here in S. Tejas. Dead flat (elevated green) par 5 hole, 20 mph wind at my back. The south Texas concrete hard fairways didn't hurt a bit.

Followed it up with a 299 yd drive today. Wish I could do it consistently, and stay in the fairways. Birdied the 10th, then bogeyed the next 8 in a row. UGH

Yep. It’s has made a comeback this year with a new greenskeeper after dumping the old management company.
It has been a great move.
They redid the clubhouse interior and the course is looking great.
this is our second year out there and we really love it and the people have been wonderful to my wife and me.
Wifey wants to build at Forest Ridge where we have friends that just built a nice home on the course.
it is a nice course too and it is in great shape this year too.

Wow, started out steady, wobbled a little, spring a leak and then the wheels fell off today.
    45/43 for an aggravating 88.
partner and I are middle of our flight with 79/63.
hopefully the rain will quit and we will get a chance to redeem ourselves tomorrow.

Today was actually good. Shot 36 on the front. The back was not as good. Was doing great till hole 12 and shot a double. Shot a par than 4 bogeys and pared last hole ending in 40 on the back for a total of 76. Gotta work on shaving off more strokes and will be set.
