Update: It has been 2 weeks since the conference call. At that time I posted that I was cautiously optimistic a resolution will be reached. I also mentioned that I had a follow up question after the conference call that had been forwarded to corporate same day as conference call. I never heard anything back and it's been radio silence ever since (2 weeks). Today I decided to leave a message with one of the Suzuki folks from the conference to make sure they received my follow up question. Someone I've never met called me back and answered my question. I was told on May 31st during the conference call with reps that they will be replacing my engine with brand new one from the warehouse. At that time, they said it would be "2-3 weeks." Today I learned it will be with the extended warranty as well. Today I was told they are still obtaining signatures or authorizations and the engine has not yet been shipped from California to the dealer my boat is located in Kentucky. I was hoping they could make 2 weeks but it didn't happen. But they did say 2-3 weeks. I'll leave it at that for now.
