    Fury 4 26 pitch

    Anyone tried a fury 4 26 pitch on a 211?
    I am running a fury 4 25 pitch at top end 5850-5900 rpm w/ Merc 250 xs
    water temp 82f
Can I give up some rpm and go to a 26 pitch?
    i haven’t heard of any 211s running a fury 4 26 pitch.

I would hope to see with a 26p fury 4 better top end 3 - 4mph with out giving up the proformance on low and midrange of the fury 4 25 p
    Am I asking to much?

Conventional wisdom, and I could be wrong here, but I thought the 4 blades were better for low and mid range and not so much for the top end. I see your rationale thinking the 26 pitch will get you more top speed over the 25 currently running. Definitely would want to run it before the expense, as with most things, there is a point of diminishing returns. Im running a 25 Fury 3 blade on my 211R and the hole shot is unreal in comparison to my LE21 that I thought had a great hole shot with a 26 Tempest. There definitely seems to be an individual hull preference I believe. Would love to see your results if you do. Keep us posted.
