    Contamination

My brake system is contaminated.. have purchased all new parts except line (hose) system actually running down the frame to each calibers.. what’s the best way to ensure these lines get cleaned out? Not against buying new line if that’s the only solution.

    Thanks, Dave

Contaminated, did the line break and water intrusion or just brake fluid?

Will require replacing the lines or flushing them couple times with brake fluid. Do not use denatured alcohol as it will eat up the seals.

As stated pump fresh brake fluid through the lines a couple times.

I had a similar issue. I blew out all the lines with compressed air then bought 2 quarts of brake fluid. I purged one entire quart through the system with a vacuum bleeder then bled another pint from the second quart then did my final bleed. May have been overkill but it works great now and the quart was like 6 bucks.
