Seems like a lot of weight to put in the front of your boat. Would that effect performance?

I moved my batts forward on an 18ft Xpress, and it killed the speed by 10-15 mph if I remember right. It also seemed to pound waves harder and my hull caved in.

Yeah I think these boats are engineered the way they are for a reason. Trying to change weight distribution that much has got to effect a lot of things.

I put 3 on the port side in the back and one on the driver side in the back. No problem
I have a JP oil tank and the HPDI oil tank all on the drivers side. Port has my TX saver mounted under the storage box. I did have 3 Opitimas the largest one and fit so you should make it work. After I get back from lake Grenada, MS I’ll try to get you some pictures of my batteries setup
