That's got to be one of the worst things I've ever heard of from a company like Mercury....NOT COOL MERCURY...NOT COOL!
Mine is not here yet...If I have to pay anymore than what we have already agreed on..I just might reconsider...not cool!

2% is actually an approximate average, as it didn't just apply to engines (controls, rigging, propellers are also affected). Notice stated due to increased cost of raw materials and tarriffs.

I got my new 300R mounted on the back of a 2018 Triton 22TRX about a week ago. I've only got about 6 hours on the engine so far but was able to hit 77.5 MPH @ 6400 RPM's with a 24P Fury. Swapped props to a 25P Tempest and lost all hole shot and was only able to run 64 MPH's at 5800 RPM's. I now have a 24P Fury mounted but have not gotten a chance to run it. Still taking an easy on her and only running WOT for a minute or two at a time until I get the full 10 hours of break in completed.

Edit 24 Aug 18: I got a chance to run the 3 blade 24p Fury last night and was turning around 6000-6100 RPM's at 74.5 MPH t hole shot was good and the handling and chine walk were better then the 3 blade 23p fury. I still want to test a 24p Bravo, a 4 blade 24p Fury, and 23p/24p Tempest but for now I am content with the performance of the 24p Fury.

The motor sounds like a beast and looks like it likes to run very high! I really hope Mercury stands behind their prices and keeps up with demand.
