    NMEA 2000 set up questions

I just bought a point one antenna / heading sensor. Have purchased some nmea 2000 items, have some more to get.
Have two Garmin echomap plus mounts on the console, two on the bow. Transducer on the transom for the console mounts, transducer on the TM for the bow mounts.
I would like to hook all four mounts up to the system.
    - Where would you mount the sensor and why? Bow, stern, console? Or would it depend on where you had the least magnetic issues?
    - How would you setup the NMEA system and why? All Tee's in one location with drops to each mount? Backbone with tees and short drops to each mount?

Point One must be mounted where there is no magnetic interference and must have an unobstructed view of the sky since it also contains a GPS antenna/receiver. It's really personal preference as to where you mount it.

As long as your drop cables don't exceed 20' you can put all the T's together. I have my backbone under the console and all the drop cables running to it.
