Thx Mr Jones, I did as you suggested on the phone and removed the controller cover, then unscrewed the cable. I put my lowrance transducer on & routed it back.
My next item... I went last night to pair & calibrate the unit. It was pretty simple. I tried the spot lock it was working good until I noticed the curled cable was getting stuck on the depth collar knob. Then I notice the boot had pulled out of its housing and about 4-5" of wires were exposed.
