For those of you that use wet tire shine and have gator hyde on your trailers. Wash the trailer and put it on the trailer. Makes it look new and easier to keep clean as well.

Thanks! I'll give that a try!

I too like the 303 as it leaves more of a matt finish, not that super shiny look.

    I completely agree.

Also does not have any petroleum so will not damage the rubber.

I get tire dressing from our Cadillac dealer in a quart spray bottle(which I provide), only costs me
a dozen doughnuts!!! Dang good stuff too, makes everything look brand new including my tonneau cover.

    The product doesn’t sling either!!!!

Use this on my truck and the boat.

Being as you actually brought up using a TIRE GEL, (and from Autogeek none-the-less) I figure I'll chime in.

I agree that the matte / semi-gloss look looks better than the really wet and slick look.

I do high-end detailing when my back allows (and as of this week it's been 6 weeks since my FOURTH back surgery and STILL can't bend over and/or lift more than 10 pounds) and I've checked out a number of tire gels.

DP isn't bad, but it's not their best (in house) brand. Blackfire is a bit better, as is Wolfgang.

BUT.... imho.... Optimum Opti-Bond is BY FAR the best tire gel you'll find.
Using the CARRAND 93045 tire brush for the applicator, generally 1 coat is all you'll need. You just put a bead on the brush and it'll do most of the tire, then another bead and the entire thing is covered, even all the nooks and crannies. Doesn't sling off, isn't too glossy, and LASTS.

I have a 500ml bottle I bought in 2013 that I'm still using this year. (still has a bit in it). Finally broke down and ordered another one 6 months ago and it's still sitting in the laundry room.

There are a couple "tire coatings" that are not bad, but for the money, as well as durability.... Opti-Bond is very hard, (if not impossible) to beat.

Black Magic Bleach-white. It leaves a good flat finish. I’ve always heard the spray foam cleaners are bad for your tires.

Italian. Now if I feel like eating a trailer spring I'll probably use Russian Dressing, but I prefer Italian Dressing. Back in the day we all wanted to watch Sophia Loren Dressing.

303, spray it on and wait 5 minutes....then wipe off. Leaves a new tire like finish and last a long time. And if tires get muddy and dirty, just wash off and tires look new again. Plus 303 has a u/v blocker which especially helps on trailer tires. I use it on boat trailer, utility trailer, mower, etc.
Think what would happen in this country if the many stopped fearing the few.

    303. Doesn't have a super shiny look and has UV protectant that will protect tires from the sun; most of these other products don't have UV protectant.

I will have to give this a look. The uv protection is more valueable than anything anymore. Satin look is nicer too. Does this product sling at all? I like the licas but if it doesnt dry fully it will sling some.
